Attractions and Considerations: Stroll along a relatively flat trail through the forest and along the shore of picturesque Fallen Leaf Lake. Access: Look for the trailhead sign near the parking area. There are no signs at the beginning of the road, but in around fifty yards there will be a sign indicating you are entering the Angora Fire District.Īlternatively, if you want to make the hike up to Angora Ridge, the trail starts near the church on the left hand side at the end of Fallen Leaf Lake Road just before the road reaches a fire station and bends right over a large bridge. In the winter, when the campground is closed, you must park just beyond Fallen Leaf Campground off of Fallen Leaf Lake Road and walk to the trailhead. To park in this lot between November 1 May 30, you must display a Sno-Park permit in your vehicle. As you enter the Sno-Park, choose the lot on the left and park near its southern side.
